Pre-Booking, Why it's Important

You're finishing up your service, you feel beautiful and well taken care of. You've finished paying, and then your stylist asks the dreaded question: "Would you like to schedule your next appointment?"
We've all been there! The fear of commitment kicks in and we start to internally hyperventilate, because God knows if we'll even know what our schedule looks like right off the bat. But what if I told you that you could simply respond, "Yes," without fearing the commitment?
In this article, we're going to take a look into pre-booking and why agreeing to that dreaded question is actually super important!
#1 - You Become Priority
That's right! When you agree to pre-book your next appointment you automatically become priority on your stylist's schedule.
This means that you no longer have to beg to be squeezed in or fight to get the most convenient appointment for you, because you've already chosen a day and time before anybody else. This allows you to put your hair care first!
#2 - Allows Opportunity to Reschedule
If you don't know what your schedule looks like yet, that's okay!
By prebooking, you ensure yourself ample time to reschedule your appointment in advance should the time and date not work out for you or in case of an unexpected emergency.
#3 - Assists in Decision Making
Have you ever so badly wanted a change, but weren't 100% sold on the idea yet? Me too!
When I first decided to cut my hair short, I wasn't sure I was actually going to follow through with it. I decided to book my haircut appointment a month in advance to allow myself to sit with the idea and anticipate the day. By doing this, it helped me realize that I really was ready to go short for the first time in my life!
By prebooking your next appointment, you now have the opportunity to mull on the idea of a change you discussed with your stylist.
#4 - Assures That You Keep and Maintain the Look You Want
Your hair is only as healthy as its scheduled maintenance allows it to be. Much like how we have morning, night, and skin care routines, our hair services need routines as well.
When you receive a service, you are paying a lot of money for nice hair. If you leave without scheduling a routine service, you are basically throwing all of that money out the door because your style, color, etc. won't last as long as it's intended to last.
#5 - Important For Your Hair Health
When your doctor asks you to schedule your next appointment with them, it's very rare that you say no to the suggestion. How come? Because we know they are taking care of your body's health.
Much like a doctor, your hairstylist is taking care of your hair's health, that's why it's called an appointment. That time slot is allotted to the care and keeping of your hair, fit with product and service recommendations (prescriptions) for your hair's health.
